THERMPROCESS Symposium 2023

From June 12 to 16, 2023, the world's leading trade fairs GIFA, METEC, THERPROCESS and NEWCAST will open their doors again in Düsseldorf.

Accompanying THERMPROCESS, the THERMPROCESS Symposium will take place from June 12 to 15, 2023, in an expanded edition in terms of time and content compared to 2019. 

June 12, 2023 - Theme Day "Energy Transition (Energiewende)”

The scientific, political, and regulatory aspects of this mega topic for the thermoprocessing industry will be highlighted.

June 13 - 15, 2023 - Developments in the industry.

In the second part of the symposium, renowned exhibitors will present new developments in relevant key topics such as:

• Flexible and resilient processes and technologies for new global challenges,
• Energy-efficient, sustainable and low-pollution thermoprocessing technology for effective climate protection,
• Digitalization of processes and plants,
• Contribution of thermoprocess technology to recycling for an integrated circular economy,
• Tapping productivity potential with innovative technical solutions.

 

A call for papers will be issued in October for the symposium section "Developments in industry". Exhibiting companies will then have the opportunity to submit papers.

The language of the THERMPROCESS symposium will be English.

Participation is free of charge for THERMPROCESS trade visitors. This allows for an on-site decision to attend at short notice to learn about the latest industry developments. All presentations will be available for download after the event.

VDMA Metallurgy is the partner of THERMPROCESS. Together with the Research Association for Industrial Furnace Engineering FOGI, it organizes the symposium.
